About the Project
Traditional educational platforms often suffer from rigid, uninspiring layouts that fail to keep students engaged. Executed in partnership with Enlivy, this project set out to change that by delivering a highly immersive, "play-to-learn" eLearning environment. My primary responsibility was to translate complex, high-fidelity Figma designs into a fully functional, pixel-perfect frontend interface.

The Vision: A "Play-to-Learn" Environment
The visual direction was the absolute standout feature of this platform. Instead of a standard corporate aesthetic, the design language drew heavy inspiration from the gaming industry. The interface required dynamic UI elements such as experience point (XP) bars, achievement badges, and a sleek dark-mode aesthetic highlighted by vibrant neon accents.
The main challenge for the frontend execution was achieving a delicate balance: faithfully implementing these highly stylized, "fun" elements without sacrificing the readability, accessibility, and clean structure necessary for an educational platform where users spend hours consuming content.
Execution & UI Engineering
Working closely with Enlivy's design and backend teams, I focused entirely on the frontend architecture and layout assembly. My approach included:
- Figma to Functional Code: I meticulously translated the vibrant, high-fidelity Figma prototypes into a lightweight, responsive frontend. Every shadow, glow effect, and custom typography scale was coded to match the designer's exact vision.
- Modular Component Assembly: Because an LMS has highly variable content (video lessons, quizzes, user profiles), I built the UI using a modular approach. I engineered reusable SCSS and HTML components for the gamified elements (badges, progress rings, XP trackers) so they could be deployed dynamically across different views.
- Structural Readability: Despite the heavy gaming aesthetic, I ensured strict adherence to spacing, contrast ratios, and typography rules, guaranteeing that the course materials remained easy to read and navigate on both desktop and mobile devices.
The Outcome: An Engaging User Experience
By successfully bridging the gap between gaming UI and educational UX, the final platform offers a uniquely engaging learning environment. The vibrant design motivates users to progress through courses, while the underlying code remains structurally sound, responsive, and easy to scale.
